Join Us in Cannes Lions: A Night of Creative Leadership and Industry Change
Following a strong debut at Cannes Lions, the Financial Times and People Like Us return in 2026 to continue the conversation on creative leadership, representation and industry change.
The global creative industries are undergoing a period of transformation. While progress has been made in widening access to talent and expanding the range of stories being told, leadership and decision-making roles remain concentrated - limiting the sector’s full creative and commercial potential. As cultural expectations evolve, brands and media platforms are under growing pressure to reflect the world more accurately, consistently and credibly.
Audiences are increasingly drawn to storytelling that resonates with lived experience, global perspectives and authenticity. At the same time, creative leaders are navigating a more fragmented cultural landscape shaped by political scrutiny and economic uncertainty. Those adapting most effectively are strengthening audience trust, retaining talent and building long-term brand value.
Against the backdrop of the world’s most influential advertising festival, we will host an invitation-only evening bringing together senior brand leaders, creatives and emerging talent. Through keynote conversations, creative showcases and curated networking, the event will explore how leadership decisions made today are shaping the future of storytelling, culture and growth.
